In 2021, I was in my first year of business and I was BUSY.
I’d started my biz in 2020 so that I could support women to build profitable businesses and have freedom in my own life. I’d spent 8 years as a Buyer for some really big high street retailer, where my job was to generate profits & develop product buttt I got very burnt out and sick along the way…
So, I became a sales & marketing strategist, certified mindset coach & NLP Practitioner and started my business for more freedom.
In my first year of business, things looked good on the outside, I was making sales and celebrating big launches.
But here’s what was really going on:
I was stressed-out and sales were stagnant in between launches.
I was overworking to create success, taking half a day off in a YEAR.
I tried every strategy and platform available to sign clients but STILL experienced feast and famine months.
I’d hit an income goal, only to feel imposter syndrome and then make no or little sales the next month.
And I was spending all my time creating content (without being sure if it would work) and feeling guilty for taking any time offline.
What followed was a lot of sleepless nights with my eyes wide open thinking… “Is THIS sustainable?!”
But I was determined to grow my income to 100k per year and have the freedom to live my life at the same time.
Things had to change.
It wasn’t about doing more, posting more, going on more platforms.
I realised that my stagnant sales weren’t down to lack of trying and visibility.
I wasn’t being seen as a Leader.
I wasn’t standing out in my niche, my clients didn’t see me as “the one” and they didn’t know that my offers would change their life.
I went back to my business model and made shifts to my positioning, messaging, offers & identity.
Within weeks, I had a 22k launch, I was making sales in the DMs with ease outside of launches and I was asked to speak in summits and guest sessions.
That year, I had my first 100k cash year whilst travelling 7 countries.
The best part, I grew into being a Leader myself and my clients results skyrocketed, they celebrated x4 their revenue, 7k recurring income months and taking their family to Florida and Dubai and more.
